Hello! I'm Henriette, artist, based in Zwolle, the Netherlands. I'm inspired by the things that surround me; people, nature, art, fashion and spirituality.

I studied fashion design at Willem de Koning academy in Rotterdam before working as a stylist and window dresser for several high-end fashion brands.

I continued to develop my personal work, and began my entrepreneurial journey full-time in 2014. Together with my partner we founded the cultural inspired fashion brand Ubuntu-Wear. While traveling the world for 4 years, we sold our designs to 10.000+ customers worldwide.

In 2020 I founded Bohomadic Studio - Modern Boho & Minimalism Art. Herefore I design illustrations and patterns, which are available as fine art prints, but also printed on different products as Home Decor and Apparel. I created and designed for clients as Urban Outfitters, Target, Walmart, Ixxi and TJ-Maxx.

Since 2021, I've been on a journey of self-discovery through art. It all started with a strong urge to create abstract pieces, a therapeutic way for me to heal my inner child and artist. With each artwork, I pour out my emotions; joy, darkness, and everything in between, using playful shapes and vibrant colors.

My art isn't just about me, though. It's a mirror that reflects the human experience, inviting others to connect with their true selves. This mission is transformative, spreading positive energy and healing to everyone who experiences my creations.

When I'm not not in the studio you can usually find me enjoying the great outdoors, having fun with my family or standing in line at a coffee bar.
